Kick-Off Week Wrap-Up

SCC's 25th Anniversary Kick-Off Week is officially over, and a great time was had by all!

We finished off the week with the SCC Spirit Day and Tailgate Party on Thursday, April 7, and "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" Movie on Friday, April 8.

The SCC Spirit Day and Tailgate Party was a great success! SCC staff handed out free peanuts from Texas Roadhouse, candy and 25th anniversary baseball stress balls to the crowd.

Scooter attempted unsuccessfully to hijack one of the Grounds Department vehicles, but not on Dan Porter's watch!

 Scooter threw out free 25th anniversary t-shirts to the crowd!

 And Chick-Fil-A gave out free chicken sandwiches!

The SCC Cougars baseball team was pretty excited about free Chick-Fil-A!

Then on Friday, SCC students, faculty, staff and community members gathered to watch "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" on the big screen at SCC. "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" was one of the top box office hits of 1986, the year SCC began!
