Thank you!

What a year! Here's a HUGE THANK YOU to all who participated, planned, helped and celebrated the 25th anniversary of St. Charles Community College. The collaborative, campus-wide effort included students, alumni, faculty, staff, administration and the community, led by SCC's 25th Anniversary Task Force. The celebration, which started in April 2011 (25 years since voters created the community college district) with a kick-off week and ended in June 2012 (25 years since the first SCC classes were held) with a tree planting ceremony and the Silver Social event.

Thank you for sharing your stories of success and your memories of the college's early days.

Ron Chesbrough, SCC president, shared his 25th anniversary thoughts during the June 2012 events and on his blog. "This is a special time in the history of St. Charles Community College," he said. "It is a time to reflect on the magnificent success and steady growth of the college through its first 25 years, and it is a time to look ahead with hope and expectancy to the next 25 years."

  1. I thought the 25th anniversary events were so fun. Maybe we can have 26th or 27th anniversary events too?
